What is D-Series?

If you've never heard of D-Series before, don't feel bad. You're far from alone in this. D-Series is a webcomic based on the Sonic universe, created as a prequel to another webcomic called Project Omega. The comic shows the events of the Genesis and Dreamcast Sonic games from the POVs of both Sonic the Hedgehog and his arch-nemesis Dr. Ivo Robotnik. In the original version of the comic, Robotnik was portrayed as a man of less-than stellar intelligence who often bungled the inventions of his supervisor Dr. Walter K. Geno. This facet of Robotnik's character was eventually removed completely due to the ridiculousness of the idea and its damage to the plot.

D-Series: Black & Blue is essentially an RPG of the comic. You can play from two different POVs: Black Side (taking the vantage point of the mustachioed genius Robotnik) or Blue Side (the traditional Sonic gameplay experience). The game will chronicle the events of the comic, following the characters through South Island, Little Planet, Westside Island, Angel Island, Station Square, the ARK, and beyond.

D-Series is currently an inactive comic. It will be revived in the eventual future.

If, by some stroke of amazingness, D-Series: Black & Blue is a big hit, a sequel RPG will be made that follows the storyline of Project Omega. The possibility of obtaining a password at the end of DSBB and using it in the sequel for hidden bonuses is most definitely there, and the PO RPG would be in the same style as DSBB.

Project Omega is currently inactive. It is being rewritten as of now.
